Welcome to 8th Grade English!

This course focuses on developing your mastery of reading literature and informational texts, writing narratives, informational and argumentative essays, creating original presentations and participating in meaningful and collaborative discussions and projects.

I organize the class using Google Classroom and LAUSD Schoology (login using your single sign on).

Tutoring is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:15 -7:45 am by appointment. There are also video tutorials for every learning target posted on Ms Winterling's Google site & Google Classroom. Students are provided with links.
